We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong functional testing skills along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities. 

The candidate should be able to understand business and functional requirements, identify gaps and dependencies, break complex problems into smaller tasks, and validate solutions from both business and technical perspectives. 

The role involves close collaboration with Business, Product, Engineering, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Analyze business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify requirement gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, business rules, and edge cases.
• Break complex requirements into clear, manageable scenarios and test cases.
• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, API, UI, mobile, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify issues beyond standard test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects, risks, and functional concerns.
• Participate in requirement grooming, refinement, and UAT activities.
• Work closely with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and validate expected behavior.
• Document test scenarios, requirements, workflows, functional specifications, and other QA-related documentation.
• Understand and document business processes and application workflows where required.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and automation.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases using appropriate automation frameworks.
• Perform API testing and database validation using appropriate tools and SQL.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, coverage, documentation, and overall product quality.

Technical Skills: 

• 2–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in functional testing and test scenario/test case design.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of requirements analysis, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to identify requirement gaps, dependencies, exceptions, and edge cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break complex problems into smaller, logical components.
• Excelent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong documentation and process-writing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good understanding of business workflows and application processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing
• API Testing – Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent
• Database Testing and SQL
• Test Automation – Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar
• Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar QA/project management tools

Qualifications:

• Experience working with Business Analysts, Product Owners, or Business stakeholders.
• Exposure to BRD, FRD, functional requirements, process flows, or workflow documentation.
• Experience supporting UAT.
• Experience with process improvement or automation initiatives.
